a long stretch of soft sand along the bay with Patong beach road in
the back, others are smaller beaches such as Nai Harn and other are
even longer and almost deserted such as Mai Khao Beach north of

ride it’s easy to rent a car or a scooter and find the right beach,
there is no public transport on Phuket Island, since the “Tuk Tuk

for some surfing, it’s no problem, just take the bike and drive
about 30 minutes south to Kata Beach, is you like Kite surfing,
again drive around an hour to the north and there is Nai Yang beach
probably the Kite surfing center on the island. At all beaches are
enough shops, stalls, hawker, and restaurants to get everything
needed instantly. It’s
also easy
to
go
on a
island
tour
at
Patong,
maybe
to
Racha
Island
and
do
some
snorkeling
or
scuba
diving.

like

some
deep
sea
fishing,
its
possible
to

as

as

such
as
Caribbean
and
elsewhere.

to the north) another 100km to the north are the Surin Islands with a
sea gypsies population and again 100km to the north is
Ranong

Kawthaung

limestone formations and also in Phang Nga Province is one of the best

Finding a cheap hotel in Phuket is easy and most of the time rooms are available, even at high season, it just needs some searching and if there is a rare hotel fully booked message one can still try Phuket apartments, there are plenty primarily at Phuket town and Patong beach, apartments are also the best solutions when you intend to take Patong beach girls with you.
