This is the only
good location to
ride the waves, some
people do it also at
Karon Beach but the
waves are not high
enough for a good
surf. If you have
enough go and get
something to eat,
behind the beach
over the beach road
are plenty of small
restaurants and Kata
Hotels, its all very
convenient. |

Beach Phuket
is at the south west side of the island,
its Phuket
surfing and more.
The beach itself is
nothing special,
there are several
hotels and dozens of
open air shops
behind one of the
main reasons why
people come to this
area south of Karon
is Kata Noi beach,
that's the best in
Phuket surfing as
you can see at the
Kata pics. Waves are
rolling in from the
Andaman Sea, they
are not as
spectacular as
around Hawaii but
with up to around
two meters not so
bad on top of it its
just in front of the
beach. Just take the
board jump into the
water paddle a
little and off you
surf. |
