Kata beach is south of Karon beach almost at the south end of the island.
The best surf spot on Phuket during the day and with a lively night scene after darkness comes. Phuket bars at Kata are more or less the same as elsewhere that includes myriad of Thai lady trying to entertain the tourists and earn some cash with it.
The bars and restaurants are along Kata beach road
because directly at parts of the beach are hotels which which makes it sometimes difficult to find a way to the water. It's fun, girls and drinks as everywhere on the island.
