A Phuket bar Chalong is usually at the pier area and around the Chalong circle.
Since this is on the route from Phuket Town to the Kata Karon area it gets quite busy every night. From the round about to the pier (here is the main public marina on the island) are several small bars and restaurants with plenty of bar girls.
This is not the flashy nightlife like at Patong, Karon, Kata or Phuket Town. Here are beer bars and sports bars to hang around, drink some beers and have a look for football beamed in from Europe. When you have enough plenty of girls are around to come with for some more fun at home.
Towards south, which is Rawai Beach are several karaoke huts, very flimsy structures always with half a dozen ladies who try to make the guys happy by any means. If someone wants to have it quiet and rather cheap, the right place.
